Event Business Licenses are issued to event/boutique hosts within Grantsville City where vendors will be selling, offering for sale, or taking orders for or soliciting the sale of any goods, wares, merchandise, or other personal property.

You are required to provide a vendor list with the business name, manager/contact, phone number, email and Utah sales tax id number to Grantsville City. Please make sure that you submit your list with all the required information within 1 week of the event.

Vendors who will be collecting sales tax (selling or reselling products to consumers) will need to get a Utah sales tax number from the Department of Commerce or Utah State Tax Commission. If they need a temporary sales tax number (for a temporary business) they can call the Department of Commerce Special Events Collection Division at 801-297-6303.

If you are a vendor attending an event within Grantsville City limits, you are no longer required to obtain a Grantsville City license. Please work with your event coordinator.
